It's Not Really Work

I babysat this little fella for one day last week. Hasn't he grown so much?!? Of course, that's what babies do! Until last week, I haven't kept him for about 3 and 1/2 months. Due to some paperwork errors, his mom was out of work for that long.

 

He is the cutest little thing.

 

 

My New Job

I have a new job!

I've begun babysitting my friend's 4 month old grandson. I usually have him 2 to 3 days per week, so it doesn't tie me down too much, and it provides a little extra income to help us make Kate's car payment. :)

He is such a doll and I've become quite attached to the little fella. I do miss him on the days when I don't have him.

Outage Schedule is Over

What a joy to be back in church with my husband!! For the past five weeks, he hasn't been able to attend church at all because of his work schedule. Thankfully, the outage is over and he is back to his normal schedule. I didn't realize how lonely church feels without my dh by my side! More than once I was tempted to (and gave into the temptation) to just stay home since he was at work! Really, I only gave in once, because the second time my children were sick. It is nice, though, to have dh back to normal working hours again.
